Music Major Shadow Day 2025

Monday, October 13, 2025 at 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM

Step into the spotlight with Eastern’s Music Department and ‘Be a Warrior For a Day’! Experience a day in the life of a music major by attending academic classes, open ensemble rehearsals, and studio classes; touring our beautiful campus and state-of-the-art Fine Arts Center; and connecting with our talented students and faculty!

9:30 Registration & Refreshments

10:00 Welcome & Tour of Campus and Fine Arts Center

11:00 Class Observations

12:00 Studio Class

1:00 Lunch w/ Music Student Ambassadors

2:00 Open Session- Choose an on campus activity to meet your needs and interests! Examples may include an individual meeting with a representative from admissions or financial aid, observing a class in another department on campus, or taking a sample lesson with a private instructor.

3:00 "The Eastern Experience"- Hear directly from Eastern students about what makes Eastern unique!

4:00 Open Ensemble Rehearsals

Parents/Guardians/Teachers are invited to attend all or any portion of the day!
